  Walmart is generally cheaper but Kroger has better meat and produce, and sometimes the other stuff is cheap if they're having a sale. But this review is mostly going to be about their sushi bar since that seems like a fairly new thing. Kroger has always had sushi from what I can remember but the bar itself is a recent addition.
  
  If you really like sushi, it's absolutely worth it. The prices are about what you would see at Fujiyama or similar, perhaps a little less. It's not the most tightly rolled sushi you'll ever eat (expect to lose bits when you pick up a piece) and the size is inconsistent (some pieces will be too big to eat in one bite which you're technically supposed to be able to do with sushi) but these are extremely minor things. The quality is superb, and they don't leave it out for a week or until it sells, whichever comes first, so it's really fresh. I assume they make sushi to order as well because there were three people behind the counter and they were attentive and friendly but not pushy.
  
  Definitely pick up a couple of rolls to try, or one of the samplers. This is probably the best sushi you'll ever find in a store. It's worth every cent.
